go up and down stairs while alternating feet

pumps legs to swing on the playground equipment
Fine Motor Skills

hold scissors properly and cut using them

practice proper pencil grip (see YouTube videos)

hold crayons properly and color a picture

play with play-doh

What can you do at home??
-
let your child play with scissors and paper
-
when coloring with crayons, color lightly and darker to experiment with pressure
-
let your child dress themselves with buttons, zippers, tying, snaps, etc.

play with finger paints and water colors with a brush
-
mold and create with play-doh and clay (requires more muscles in your child's hands)
